Dark Western ‘The Thicket’ Starring Peter Dinklage Releases First Trailer

Tubi Films has released the first trailer for the upcoming Western, The Thicket, starring Peter Dinklage. The film is based on the 2013 Joe R. Lansdale novel of the same name. The film will be released in theatres on September 6. Starring alongside Dinklage, The Thicket features Juliette Lewis, Esmé Creed-Miles, Levon Hawke, Leslie Grace, and James Hetfield. Dinklage has been attached to the film since it was first announced in 2014 and also serves as a producer on the film. Keep reading for more details on the film and a look at the trailer.

ABOUT THE THICKET

When fierce bounty hunter Reginald Jones (Dinklage) is recruited by a desperate man to track down a ruthless killer known only as Cutthroat Bill (Lewis), he rallies a band of unlikely heroes including a grave-digging ex-slave and a street-smart woman-for-hire. Together, they embark on a perilous quest to track down Cutthroat Bill that leads them into the deadly “no-man’s-land” known as…The Thicket.

The Thicket is written by Chris Kelly, and directed by Elliott Lester. The film is procured by Tubi Films, Peter Dinklage, and David Ginsberg.
