Yes, Krypto the Superdog is making an appearance in the upcoming Superman movie from DC Studios. James Gunn showed off the first image of the new dog with Superman on his social media accounts earlier this morning. Check out the post and the first look images below.

Superman stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. It also includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Wendell PIerce, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, and Maria Gabriela de Faria.
Superman comes at a pivotal time for the newly formed DC Studios at Warner Bros. Discovery. It’s the first film in a multi-media project for bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran. Gunn wrote and directed Superman.
James Gunn and Peter Safran announced the film earlier this year at a huge event that showed off the DC film slate. It’s launching their DC multimedia universe and it’s the center project of the whole thing.
