JJ Abrams has a new secret movie coming at Warner Bros.. The currently untitled film is not about time travel. Abrams wrote the script, and his company Bad Robot is producing. Outside of that, that’s all we know in regards to the plot. However, we did learn a new detail about the film from Deadline this morning, in that Jenna Ortega is joining the film. She’ll also star alongside one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now, Glen Powell.
The pair are part of some of the biggest films and shows on the air or in theaters lately. Powell recently started a run that included Top Gun: Maverick, Twisters, Anyone But You, and Hit Man. Ortega has been in projects like Scream (2022), Scream VI, Wednesday, and the upcoming Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
Abrams has been a bit quiet with his output in Hollywood lately, but this new film will also see him return to the director’s chair.
