Have you wanted to face the terror of Xenomorphs coming at you from all angles? How about in VR? Well, you get the best of both worlds with the upcoming Alien: Rogue Incursion. The new VR game that comes out on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR on December 19th, 2024 and on Meta platforms in early 2025, follows ex-Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks and her sentient AI companion Davis 01 as they undertake a dangerous mission into an infested research facility on the planet Purdan. Before they know it, deeply personal stakes emerge to plunge both Zula and Davis deeper into the dark heart of Purdan to expose – and escape – the deadly horrors lurking within.

The new game features puzzles, terror, action, and much more that utilizes the VR platform of your choice to its fullest. We had the chance to sit down (stand up, really) and play the new game, which you can read about here. But it’s safe to say that fans of Aliens are going to have a blast with this one. It feels like an old school shooter, complete with med packs, ammo drops, and other features. Don’t let that dissuade you from trying out the game though, the VR platform makes it so this is an action-packed experience. You don’t know terror until you’ve tried to unweld a door that’s closed while the motion tracker on your shoulder beeps with the oncoming movement of Xenos.

We’ll have to see how the final product of Alien: Rogue Incursion turns out when it releases this December.
